So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
God,
Your strength is what we need when fear gets the best of us. Fear is a liar. It would have us believe that no one is on our side. It would have us believe that we are alone in the fight. It would have us believe that we are weak. But You are a God of truth. And truth says, we are not alone. Truth says we are lifted up and strengthened by the one who created it all. Truth says…you belong to me – and I’ve got your back so stand tall and trust in me for your help.
Remind me of those truths today and tomorrow… and whenever fear starts to creep back in. Help me to rest and rejoice in who You are and that I belong to You. Amen.
