But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
God desires for us to know Him and understand His Ways. Through this wisdom and understanding, we will be blessed. The Lord wants to share all that He is and all that He has with us. He is the provider of all we need. He assures us that we have all of Him and access to all that belongs to Him. What He asks of us is that we come close to Him, get to know Him and have a relationship with Him. How do we do our part? How can we seek the Lord? We can begin by talking to Him in prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, Today we commit to following You and Your Ways. We seek to know You better and draw closer to You. Help us to gain wisdom and direction from the Scriptures as we read with a burning desire to understand. Thank You for Your continued blessings and righteous ways. In Jesus Name, Amen
