And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
Father,
Some days I have a hard time seeing beyond the horizon of the struggles that I face. It seems like disappointment and hurt crash in waves over me and fear pins me to the shore. On days like those, remind me that You have called me to so much more. There may be struggles today, but they are temporary. You have designed me to step out beyond them in courage, trusting in Your plan for my life. You see my heart and the tears I cry. I am not alone, and my struggles will not be in vain. Use them to bring glory to Your name so that others may know how great You are.
