Read Galatians 3:26-28 NIV
So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Lord,
Shake up our hearts this week. Give us eyes to see the beauty in the diversity you have created and then give us hearts that desire to be a bridge – drawing all of your children in and working to celebrate what you can do through us when we view Jesus as the person who unites us. Help us to be Your church – a picture of You and the love that unites us as Your children. Focus our eyes on You and let the things that might divide us become secondary as we focus on what unites us. Amen.
