Heavenly Father,
Give me a heart that longs to be close to You. Wake me up each day with a desire to seek Your wisdom through Your Word and to seek Your heart in my prayers. Send me to bed each night in anticipation of meeting with You throughout my day tomorrow. I could devote myself to so many good things – being a good parent, being a good spouse, being a good employee – but what I desire most is to devote myself to knowing and seeking You. Help me to do that today.
