“For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you.

I love a good “cupid” story, especially the ones I see blossom at church. Over time I have seen love sprouting year after year. In fact, my love for my husband bloomed in church. Feeling love for another is one of the greatest feelings I have experienced in my life, but much of my life didn’t include love – at least not the love I know now. You may think that the love I am referencing is from my husband and although his love is right up near the top, there is One who loves me more.

My friends, there has never been a time you were not loved. God’s gift of love was His greatest gift of all! It is freely given. And His love includes you. It may be hard to believe and hard to see, but His love has been there your whole life. Lean into that love and hold onto it.
