Last week we explored the power of prayer and the importance of faith as we considered what it means to move towards God. This week, we’re exploring the natural ‘consequence’ of moving toward God: if we are going to move with God, we will inevitably end up moving toward people. In fact, it is impossible to move with God and not move toward people – it is a biblical imperative.
Today’s Scripture passages remind us that God has provided us with a clear example of what it looks like to love others – loving others means we prioritize the needs of others above our own and do to others as God has done to us. It means we love endlessly, extend grace in excess, and offer forgiveness in all things.
