Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.
God, as we wrap up this week, we thank You for the generous and lavish love You have for us. Thank You for not choosing to separate Yourself from us but instead to make Your home with us…in us, through Jesus. Day after day, mess up after mess up, You show up – consistent and fully engaged. What an amazing love. Help us to recognize Your love that You have imprinted on us and to step out of ourselves to engage and express that love to the world around us in our everyday spaces and places. Help us to truly love where we live. Amen.
