Read Colossians 1:15-17 NLT
Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.
He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,
for through him God created everything
in the heavenly realms and on earth.
He made the things we can see
and the things we can’t see—
such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world.
Everything was created through him and for him.
He existed before anything else,
and he holds all creation together.
Lord,
I stand in awe of Your creation. I don’t need to look hard to see Your majesty displayed in all that You have made. Help me to see Your design and Your purpose in it all each day. No small detail of our world or my life escapes You. Remind me that it is Your purpose and Your presence in my life that gives my life value. I am created by Your loving hand for Your great purposes. Make my piece of Your story clear to me and equip me to move in You. Thank You that You hold the world together and we do not! Amen.
