Read: Acts 4:31 GNT

When they finished praying, the place where they were meeting was shaken. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to proclaim God’s message with boldness.

We are all very familiar with the high gasoline prices. Unfortunately, the increased cost puts us in a position to have to make hard choices. We could choose to not pay the high price for gas, but in doing so, our vehicle would not operate. We could choose to put a half tank of gas in our car and get by for the week, limiting where we go. Or as hard as it is, we could make the choice to pay the price to fuel our car so we can get to where we need to go.

Setting margin in our life is a lot like putting fuel in our car. We have a choice. We could do nothing to change our life and continue to have no margin or we can choose to eliminate some of the demands in our life and have some margin but still run out of gas by the end of the week. Alternatively, we can make the tough decision to eliminate things that consume our life and in doing so, have a full tank and get to where you need to be.

You may be asking; how could you eliminate things but still have a full tank? We fill our tank with the Holy Spirit. Starting our day with God, allowing Him to guide us throughout the day with choices that are best for us and keep us heading in the direction He wants us to go. His power is far greater than ours when it comes to making the decisions needed to have a full tank. And when we rely on His strength, we will have margin and still be full.
