Come to me, all you who are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
God is the source of rest and the solution to worry. He invites me to bring all my concerns to Him, no matter how big or small they are. He wants me to pray with faith and gratitude, trusting that He cares for me and hears me. He promises to give me His rest, which is beyond human comprehension and logic. He assures me that He will protect my heart and mind from anxiety and fear, as I stay connected to Him through Christ.
I want to live with confidence and joy in God. I want to cast all my worries on Him and not to carry them by myself. I want to thank Him for His goodness and faithfulness in every situation. I want to experience His peace and not to be troubled by the circumstances. That’s why I need to pray to Him and not to rely on my own understanding. He is the only one who can calm my soul and fill me with hope.
Pray: Lord, thank You for being my peace and my provider. Help me to not be anxious about anything, but to pray to You in every situation. Help me to thank You for Your grace and mercy in my life. Help me to receive Your peace and not to be disturbed by the world. In Jesus’ name, amen.
