Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe
Pray: God, You are the King whose fortress cannot be shaken from division within or enemies without. We don’t need to be afraid of evil anymore. We can lay down our defenses when we are in Your care. You have prepared a room for us in Your house, and when we enter, we can close our eyes in peace and security. You are the faithful watch who will protect us from sin and death. You have prepared a seat at the table for the murderer, a bed for the thief, and eternal life for the sinner. By the blood of Jesus we enter Your house as sons and daughters. Amen.
