Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
This was the very first verse I heard the day I entered Cross Creek Church. It was the first Sunday in January in 2015. That day, the day before my 44th birthday was the day of transformation for me. I realized on that day that I wanted to serve the Lord in everything that I do. I needed to be transformed; my mind needed renewal! This verse provided freedom for me to stop living to please people and fulfill the purpose God has for me. This verse encourages me to grow deeper in my faith by looking to God and searching for answers in His Word – not to people and certainly not the ways of the world. I am so grateful for this verse and the message that day! My life is forever changed!!
