We continue with our devotional series “A Few of Our Favorite Things” where you’ll hear from some of our pastors and volunteers as they share how God’s Word has impacted them.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
These verses have helped me during the many moments of being a wife, mother, sister and friend. As my understanding of God’s Word increases my faith, His Words to renew my mind in thanksgiving gives me the ability to walk this journey of life with Him in the love and peace of Christ. It becomes more clear everyday that He does not want us to be alone in this journey of life. Our relationship with Him is key to an abundant life. The peace that God offers is beyond what we can comprehend. What a vision to sit with when the world gets in the way!
