We continue with our devotional series “A Few of Our Favorite Things” where you’ll hear from some of our pastors and volunteers as they share how God’s Word has impacted them.
For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.
My life verse is Philippians 4:13. I have used this verse ever since I was a kid to get through some very hard times. When I’m feeling down or feel that I cannot push through a difficult season of life, I recite this verse in my mind over and over.
It is truly amazing to see God carry you through things that you were not capable of getting through on your own. It is through His strength that I can press on.
