Read Hebrews 10:24-25
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
Today we are going to talk action!
Our verse says, “let us consider how…” I don’t think it means to just think about how we can encourage each other and make time to be together, but it actually is compelling us to do something with that. Faith put into action!
So – what can you do today…not maybe sometime in the future or what can you do to get better at working on encouraging each other – but what can you actually do today? Write it down on a card and take it with you today and then…do it! Let’s be a working, breathing, moving body of Christ together!
God,
Thank You that You have given us brains and creativity to love and serve each other. Help us to look to You and to put action to our faith when it comes to building up our brothers and sisters in Christ. Give us your eyes and your heart so that we might see each other in the way you see us and that we might love a little bit more like you each day. Help us to be intentional about loving and serving each other well. Amen.
