Focus Verses: John 6:26-27
“Jesus answered, ‘Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.’”
The people sought Jesus because He had met their physical needs. But He wanted them to recognize a deeper truth: their souls were just as hungry as their stomachs. This miracle was not just about bread—it was about Jesus revealing Himself as the true sustainer of life.
Pray:
Lord, help me to desire more than the temporary things of this world. Open my heart to hunger for the eternal bread You offer.
