What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
All of us have probably experienced times when we were met with opposition at every turn and everything was a struggle. Have you ever had one of those days where it seems like everything and everyone is against you? You feel like you are fighting a losing battle. Nothing makes sense. You question everything. Giving up seems like a good option. Your confidence is shaken.
If that is where you find yourself today, allow these words to echo in your heart – God is for you! No matter who or what is against you…God is for you. Does it feel like your boss is against you? God is for you. How about finances? Are you up against debt and trying to figure a way out? God is for you. What about illness? God is for you.
Let me say that again in case you missed it…God is for YOU! It might be hard to wrap your head around, but His love for you (and me) is the motive for everything He has done…and everything He ever will do. His sole desire is for us to experience and know the fullness of His love and to restore us to wholeness. You may not see God’s plan in what you are experiencing right now, but He does have one. We just can’t see it yet. Trust that it is a good plan and be confident that He is for you.
