Living in the Freedom of Forgiveness
Read Luke 7: 48-50 “Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” The other guests began to say among themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?” Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you, go in peace.”
Jesus publicly declares that the woman is forgiven. In a room where she had once been judged, she now receives freedom. Forgiveness does more than remove guilt—it restores peace!
Many people believe God forgives them, but still live weighted down by shame. Yet Jesus invites us to walk in the freedom His forgiveness provides.
When God forgives us, our past no longer defines us! This is such GREAT NEWS!
Reflection: Are you living in the peace of God’s forgiveness, or still carrying guilt that He has already removed?
Prayer: Jesus, help me to fully embrace the freedom of Your forgiveness and live in the peace You have given me. Amen!
