Forgiveness Produces Love
Read Luke 7:47 “Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven–as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.”
Jesus explains that the woman’s extravagant love flowed from the forgiveness she had experienced. When we truly grasp how much God has forgiven us, it transforms our hearts.
Gratitude replaces guilt. Love replaces shame. Worship replaces fear. Transformation begins when we seek His forgiveness with an open heart. Jesus acknowledges that this woman had much to be forgiven for, and so her love is great!
Forgiveness doesn’t just remove our past – it creates a new way of living!
