God,
Your love astounds me. It pursues me even though I stubbornly go my own way. It calls to me and longs to bring me home, safe, into Your grace. In my human mind, I would have understood if You had written me off. It is hard, and sometimes it hurts, to love those who seem to be running in the opposite direction. Thank You for seeing that I was worth running after. Help me to view my relationship with You in the same way. Help me to pursue You with all that I am. Amen.
