Lord,
This is not an easy prayer to pray. If I’m honest, when I am sitting in my hurt it is hard to see anything but what I need in that moment. But I would ask that You remind me that You are always there for me in the good and the bad. I know that Your love is poured out over me and my hurting heart. Because of that assurance, help me to look at those who have hurt me with the same grace You have given me. Heal the things in them that cause them to act in the ways that have caused pain to those around them. Restore them and guide them in living as You have designed. Father, help me to be an example of what Your love looks like so that they might experience the blessing of feeling Your love through me. Amen.
