Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Lord,
Today I recognize that all the fears and worries that I carry with me, take up a lot of space in my life. They are slowly eating up the margin in my life, occupying my thoughts, and even weighing on me physically, causing both mental and physical exhaustion. For some reason I feel the need to carry all the things that make me anxious even though you have already said to leave them with you and to trust your plan. I continually shoulder them on, and struggle under their weight. Jesus, you relied solely on your Heavenly Father and allowed Him to carry you through. Help me to do that today. Help me to empty my hands and drop the heaviness I lug, trusting that you care for me and that you will carry me through. Release me from the things I think I need to tote and allow me to move freely in your will. Amen.
