We continue with our devotional series “A Few of Our Favorite Things” where you’ll hear from some of our pastors and volunteers as they share how God’s Word has impacted them.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
I know it is the verse that is most repeated, but for me it still moves me to think that God loves me enough that He would give His Son up for me. It gets me every time I hear it. It doesn’t get old. It’s the verse I think about as we get near the end of a message — I want for those who are listening to make it personal like I do. God so loved (Fill in the blank with your own name) David that He gave His one and only Son, that if he believes in Jesus he will not perish but have everlasting life.
