Read Psalm 63:1 NIV
You, God, are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,
my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
where there is no water.
Pray:
Father God, You are truly my God. You are the reason for everything that happens now and in eternity. I seek Your truth as a person thirsting in the desert. I never can quench my thirst for You. There isn’t enough time in my day to drink in enough of You. I seek Your beauty, Your magnificence. I seek Your peace in the midst of chaos. I seek Your loving, caring heart when mine is breaking. I seek Your protection in the midst of the storm. I seek to please You, Lord. I see Your holy face. I seek Your call to bring me home one day. All glory and praise to You Holy Father, Precious Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
