“The hearts of the wise make their mouths prudent, and their lips promote instruction. Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.” Proverbs 16:23-24
We cannot think that loving words alone, without our heart and actions in alignment, are what we’re talking about.
“The heart overflows with good if it is filled with the goodness of Christ, and then words come out easily and freely, flowing like a stream from a full fountain.” Martin Luther
We pray today that God would continue to work on our hearts, so that the words that would flow out from us would be an outpouring of the goodness of Christ.
