Yesterday, David shared with us what he believes is our word of the year as a church (Love) and a prayer that the Hebrew people would pray twice a day – the Shema.
As we begin to process what those things might look like in our lives, both personally and collectively, let’s take apart the Shema and study it a little more closely so that we might have a better understanding of what love really looks like and requires of us.
For the rest of the week we will be using a Bible Project Word Study of the Shema as our devotions. We pray that it brings you clarity and greater understanding of how we can truly love God and one another.
