“And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.”
Lord,
Help our roots to grow deep into You. Do not let them just skim the surface, but help us to grow into strong oaks of righteousness. Don’t allow us to be tossed to and fro or even have our roots ripped out by the wind and storms that may come our way. Help us to be steadfast. Show us the word You have for us this year to grow and become more like You. Help our faith to grow strong, teach us Your truth, and no matter what comes our way, give us hearts of gratitude in 2022.
