Day 19 – Hope
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our hope is in You, God. You have given us signs and wonders that tell of Your redeeming power. Even though the ground is frozen shut, it is full of beauty and life ready to burst forth again in spring. The sky opens and swells the rivers, but the flood brings nutrients for the soil. The dead, hollow tree houses a universe of new life, peeping out through the knots. In life and death we praise You, blessed be the name of the Lord. Amen.
