Day 18 – Grace
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.
Father, we offer our praise to You like a child giving a gift. You gave us the means to praise You. Just as a mother will give her child a dollar to buy a present, we give to You what is already Yours, wrapped in old newspapers and too much tape. We pick flowers from Your garden to give to You. We bake cookies with ingredients from Your pantry. Our faith is a product of Your grace. Keep our hearts full of love for You, made evident by our offerings, even if we can’t quite color inside the lines. Amen.
