“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. ”
Dear Jesus,
Thank You for loving us deeply and covering over our sins with Your love. May we extend this same grace, love and hospitality to others without grumbling. You know how challenging this can be for us, Lord. Help us to turn our grumbling into praise. Help us to use our gifts to serve others in our relationships. Help us to love others as You love them, and help us to accept the perfect love that You have given us. May our relationships be a blessing to us and may we be a blessing to those we are in relationships with. May we accept that we are to be life-long learners, seeking community with other believers and allowing those You have sent to speak truth into our lives. May we grow in humility, understanding that this is part of the work You have called us to. Learning to be humble, learning to serve and seeking regular connection with a community of believers is part of this life long learning that can enhance and bless us within our relationships. Thank You, Holy Spirit for being my Helper upon this journey. I am never alone. In Jesus name. Amen.
