Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion,
which cannot be moved, but abides forever.
As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
so the Lord surrounds his people,
from this time forth and forevermore.
As you read the words of this Psalm today, let them sink in. What does it mean to you to know that those who put their trust in God are like the mountain God calls His home; a place He cannot be moved from, but continues to remain there without fading or being lost? How does it feel to know that you are surrounded by God, nestled deep within His love and protected from a vantage point far above what we can reach or even imagine?
Our prayer is that today you will feel the truth and the hope of these words in the deepest parts of your soul. May you feel totally immersed in the love and protection of an unshakeable God as you continue to put your trust in Him each and every day.
