Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.
Faith is not something that stands still. Faith is meant to be a living, growing thing…because life does not stand still. Stuff happens! Faith is the part of you that is confident that no matter what gets tossed your way, God loves you and He is in control. In each instance you can proclaim that truth and stand firmly on it… and your faith will grow.
Father,
I know You love me and that You have a plan for my life. Sometimes I just don’t understand where it is all headed and I am tempted to try to take control. In those moments, help me to remember Your faithfulness and to rely on Your promises. Help me to seek You first in my day, so that my sights are set on Your will for me each day. Guide my relationships and keep me anchored in You. Help me to always expect Your best for me so that my faith in You will grow. Amen
