Read John 15:5-8 NIV
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
Lord,
I am so grateful that You have chosen me to be a vessel that You use to make Yourself known in the world. What a privilege it is to allow You to work through me. Keep my heart humble, reminding me that it is only through connection with You that I have the ability to bring Your light into the world. Draw me to Yourself, giving me a hunger to be in your presence and in Your Word so that I might know Your will for my life and so that You might be glorified in all that I do and say. Amen.
