“Look! The virgin will conceive a child!
She will give birth to a son,
and they will call him Immanuel,
which means ‘God is with us.’”
God, those four small words “God is with us” hold tremendous significance and hope. Hope – because of the grace and redemption that Jesus’ arrival provided. Significance – because it reminds us that we are not alone in this world. In the busyness of the holiday season, help us to not run past the significance and the beauty of You simply being with us this season. Thank You for the wonder of Your redemption plan that included Jesus as the catalyst. Thank You that You are still with us today. Amen.
