When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told. ‭‭Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭17‬-‭20‬

Carol: Go Tell It on the Mountain

“As we think today of the birth of the Savior, let us aspire after a fresh birth of the Savior in our hearts; that as he is already created in us, ‘the hope of glory,’ we may be ‘made new in the attitude of our minds;’ that we may go again to the Bethlehem of our spiritual nativity and do our first works, enjoy our first loves, and feast with Jesus as we did in the holy, happy, heavenly days of our initial walk with Jesus.” Charles Spurgeon

Those who encounter Christ speak of Him. The shepherds return changed, glorifying God and sharing what they have seen. Redemption naturally leads to purpose.

Christmas does not end at the manger. It moves outward in testimony, worship, and transformed lives.

Go tell it!
