Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.
God,
As we go into this final week before Christmas, we ask that you would continue to prepare our hearts for Your arrival. Remind us of your faithfulness this week as we examine what it might look like to trust you in all circumstances. As we look at the Christmas story again, remind us of your promises and your faithfulness for whatever we are facing right now and whatever the future may bring. You are so good, Lord! Thank you for your love and faithfulness – that is all we need. Amen.
