Read Ephesians 4: 1-6, NIV

“As a prisoner of the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.  Be completely gentle and humble; be patient, bearing with one another in love.  Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.  There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.”

Prayer:

“Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:

Where there is hatred, let me sow love;

Where there is injury, pardon;

Where there is doubt, faith;

Where there is despair, hope;

Where there is darkness, light;

Where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console,

To be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love.

For it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,

And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Amen.”

Peace Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi
