Read 1 Peter 2:9-10 ESV
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
God, thank you for changing my identity! You call me Yours – holy and set apart for you. I am grateful to be adopted into your family. Help me to live in the fullness of Your love and to live like one of Your children every day. Let forgiveness, kindness, peace, and love be evident in all my words and my actions so that others might see You because of who You say I am. I am filled with gratitude today to be Yours! I love You! Amen
