Read Ephesians 6:10-12 NIV
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Today’s verses remind me that my strength comes directly from God. It is His mighty power living inside me that holds victory for whatever I face. That is both exciting… and humbling, and it helps me to see my world – my comings and goings- through a lens of truth.
God offers us his power and all the tools we need to fight against whatever difficulty comes our way. We need only choose to accept them and then use them. Every protection we could ever need, He provides – it’s His armor, fitted perfectly for you and me. What hope and courage that should give us when we choose to submit ourselves to Him and embrace His power and authority to bring victory in our lives!
