When looking back at the journey of Barnabas and Paul we notice that Paul is the writer and the speaker. Although we do not hear of Barnabas addressing the crowds or performing miracles, his presence surely is known. He is not in the spotlight, but he is not in the dark about what’s going on either. Both men are doing their part in spreading the Good News.
Whether we are in the spotlight or hang back in the shadows, it is important to know the role we play so that we most effectively share the Word of God and the gift of Salvation with as many people as we can!
Do you have someone in your life that has served as an encouragement helping you to make your goals? Can you think of someone whom you encouraged? Both roles are equally as important in telling the world about the wonderful love of God!
Who shared the gospel with you? How will you share this amazing gift with others? Will you be the speaker or the encourager?
