Lord,
We live in a crazy world that swirls with unrest and trouble. I’ll admit that sometimes it gets the best of me. Fear creeps in and feeds my heart and my mind with lies, and before I know it, I am consumed. Often frozen. Unable to move forward. This week, help me to hold tight to these words and to embrace the gift of peace You so freely offer as I continually aim to place my hope and my trust in You alone. Let your peace wash over me and my interactions to create an atmosphere that is undeniably soaked in your love. Amen.
