Read John 8:12 ESV

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Jesus displays a lot of confidence in these statements! Jesus knows who he is! He knows what he can do! Jesus wants to share this confidence with you!

Jesus is confident that whoever follows him will never walk in darkness. He sets no limitations. He includes everyone when he says whoever. This is an open invitation to YOU and everyone to enter into the light. He promises that anyone who follows Him will NEVER walk in darkness. How is this possible? Read what the Apostle Paul writes in his letter to Titus:

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.  That is the way we should live, because God’s grace has come. That grace can save everyone. It teaches us not to live against God and not to do the bad things the world wants us to do. It teaches us to live on earth now in a wise and right way – a way that shows true devotion to God. Titus 2:12

Will you accept the gift of grace from your Heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ? Come into the Light of Christ’s never ending love!

Father, God, We thank You for the gift of life. We are so blessed that You have rescued us from the darkness. We ask that You continue to help us to see You and live as You have intended. We are grateful to walk with You as you hold the flashlight that exposes us to our sin and leads us closer to You. Because of You, we have a future of hope. Thank You for loving us as You do. In Jesus name, amen.
