Read: Psalm 121 NIV

 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—

where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord,

the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip—

he who watches over you will not slumber;

indeed, he who watches over Israel

will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you—

the Lord is your shade at your right hand;

the sun will not harm you by day,

nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm—

he will watch over your life;

the Lord will watch over your coming and going

both now and forevermore.

Read: Psalm 46:10-11 TPT

Surrender your anxiety.

Be still and realize that I am God.

I am God above all the nations,

and I am exalted throughout the whole earth.

Here he stands!

The Commander!

The mighty Lord of Angel Armies is on our side!

The God of Jacob fights for us!

Pray:

Heavenly Father – Maker of heaven and earth,

I pray that You will visit us, and make Your presence known in our lives and in our communities. Give me faith to believe that You can change this community through prayer and through acts of love and compassion. Let Your Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. Help me to cultivate Your presence in my life for the benefit of those around me. I choose to partner with You for transformation to take place in the city, town, or village I find myself in. Help me to contend for those around me in prayer. Remove the distractions in our lives keeping us from Your presence.

I thank You for watching over us, over our comings and goings. I thank you for the mercy and release of anxiety You are manifesting in my community as I pray and as I reach out to others. Bring Your light into the darkness and allow me to carry Your presence wherever I go. I ask that Your authority would impact my community in a life-altering way. You say in Jeremiah 33:9 NIV: “Then this city will bring me renown, joy, praise and honor before all nations on earth that hear of all the good things I do for it; and they will be in awe and will tremble at the abundant prosperity and peace I provide for it.”

Lord, we thank You today that You are all-powerful, all-knowing, and always perfectly good. Thank You for Your daily mercies to us as we struggle through challenging times. Father, we confess that we do not seek Your presence as we ought to. We confess that we have settled for lesser things, when we know You desire us to have a personal, close relationship with You. Lord, revive our love for You. Draw close, let us know your presence in our lives. And help us to in turn share Your powerful love with our neighbors. We seek to be still before You while proclaiming You indeed are God exalted above all the nations.  Lord, we place our hope in Your unfailing love and infinite power for we do know where our help comes from – Here He stands! The Commander! The mighty Lord of Angel Armies is on our side! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.   ~ Adapted from Crosswalk.com
