“Give justice to the poor and the orphan;
uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitute.
Rescue the poor and helpless;
deliver them from the grasp of evil people.
Pray:
Heavenly Father,
You are full of justice, love, and mercy. But sometimes it is hard to see how that can shine through in a world that is so very broken. Our prayer today is that You would remind us of Your strength and Your power to overcome the brokenness of our world. Remind us that Your power lives in us and allows us to move and make a difference in our communities. Give us a boldness to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves and to serve those around us who others might overlook. Help us to be Your hands and feet in the everyday spaces and places of our lives so that Your righteousness and justice may be seen and felt through us. Amen.
