Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.
Lord,
So often I get wrapped up in the pursuit of what I think is best. I work myself to exhaustion, muscling and reasoning my way through life and yet I still hold on with an iron grip. This week it is my desire to give it all over to You. Help me to lay everything before You and to allow You to work in me and through me. Fix my eyes and my thoughts on You as you guide me…and in those moments when I struggle and questions cloud my mind, remind me of Your great love for me. Wrap me so completely in Your arms and carry me through. Amen
