Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.
Gracious Father,
Thank You for the way Your Word reveals Your character to us. As we search Scripture this week, open our eyes to the rhythms and attitudes that best put our hearts in line with Yours. Help us to view the world around us from Your perspective – letting go of selfish desires to instead grab onto things that make a difference for Your kingdom. Give us wisdom and peace and a desire to serve in the manner that You chose to serve as we move throughout our days. Amen.
