Today’s Reading: Psalm 51:10-13 NLT
Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me.
Do not banish me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of your salvation,and make me willing to obey you.
Then I will teach your ways to rebels, and they will return to you.
Lord,
This week, help me to examine my heart and to surrender completely, any part that remains in me that isn’t fully yours. Renew a desire in me to then live each day with an attitude of humility, thankfulness and grace for the work You have already done on the cross. May the love You have shown me overflow from me so that others may see my life and recognize the good work You are doing in me. Amen.
