Read Romans 10:14 (CEV)
How can people have faith in the Lord and ask him to save them, if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear, unless someone tells them?
In 2024, I was promoted from being a mom to being a grandmother. With this promotion come new responsibilities. It isn’t my job to spoil this child; I am blessed to be a part of raising her. I have made it my mission that she knows Jesus. In order for this to happen, I have to tell her about Jesus. We pray together, we sing together, and we read stories together.
As dedicated followers of Jesus, we are called to make disciples. With that, we accept His command to help spread the teachings of the Good News. For me, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone” (Mark 16:15) means starting with the people closest to me. I want everyone in my family to know this Good News! I am so grateful for the opportunity God has given me to be part of my grandchild’s life! She is so easily influenced right now, and I want her to know the truth about God, all that He has done, and how much He loves her! I am grateful for the new life that God has given us and the opportunity to share the Good News.
God is constantly giving us opportunities to share His love with others. Sharing with everyone may seem a bit of a daunting task. I’d like to encourage you to start somewhere with somebody today! Who will you share the Good News with today? Where will you start?
Perhaps you need to hear the Good News:
God cares about you! He loves you! And He wants a relationship with you!
Prayer:
Dear God, Thank You for loving me through the years and giving me new opportunities to draw closer to You. Thank You for putting people in my life with whom to share the Good News. Thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit to guide my thoughts and actions. Help me to allow the Holy Spirit to work through me to share the Good News with someone today! Amen
