“He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”
He called her “Daughter”. This encounter involved so much more than a physical healing. Jesus was restoring her identity. She had been in isolation because of her condition for so long. After years and years of seclusion, Jesus gave her belonging, dignity, and peace.
Her faith didn’t just change her physical condition, it changed her position. She went from being isolated and alone to being the daughter of the King.
God’s work in our lives goes deeper than surface-level solutions. He restores what’s been lost on a much deeper and intimate, personal level. He was offering freedom from her physical and personal suffering. What a beautiful example of the fullness of the love of God!
Key Point: Faith doesn’t just fix our circumstances – it restores and redefines us.
Question: What areas of my life need wholeness, not just relief? How does God see me right now?
Prayer: Jesus, restore every part of me. Help me walk in the identity You’ve given me. Amen
